A Spiritual Home for Women

Seeking Serenity
I am but one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I ought to do.
What I ought to do, by the grace of Godde I will do.
Divine Mother, what will you have me do?

Answering the Call

As many of you know, I have been offering workshops and retreats to women in recovery for several years. Recently, I have had a recurring dream in which I must jump down to reach the next level.  This dream tells me to deepen into Spirit, to stay committed to my truth, and to face my fears.  So now, I leap into claiming my calling and sharing it with you.

A Spiritual Home for Women

I believe I am called to create a community of women who seek to deepen their relationship with the Divine; a “church” of sorts for women who long for a spiritual home; women who feel disenfranchised from institutions that do not feed their souls or hold their truth. This is not only my vision, but also a community just waiting to be created. As the Dalai Lama stated in his 2009 speech in Vancouver, “The world will be saved by the western woman.”  I take these words as truth.

That said, my questions to you are the following:

  1. Do you need a new spiritual home?
  2. Does the idea of an ecumenical community of open-hearted, wildly-spirited women appeal to you?  A “service” of worship that includes poetry, heart-felt sharing, music, prayer, drumming, creating, dancing, and more?
  3. Do you know other women who would be interested?
  4. How often would you attend?  Weekly, every other week, monthly, other?
  5. Would you have a preference for morning or evening, weekday or weekend?
  6. If an on-line option is available, would you participate remotely?
